[Abstract]
The results of a web-based questionnaire were used to investigate the relationship between the severity of premenstrual symptoms (PMS) and lifestyle factors. Eight hundred twenty women in their 20s-40s were included in the analysis. The results suggested that light and exercise may be related to severity of PMS. Based on these results, adjusting the light environment and exercise in daily life may be effective as a method for PMS relief, as well as pharmacotherapy and symptomatic treatment.
